As part of a Tourism, Gateway and Wayfinding strategy, Wavefront worked with stakeholders to create a new vision for two gateway signs along the QEW in Lincoln, Niagara.  With a limited construction budget, Wavefront created conceptual designs to improve visibility of the existing signs and animate them with a robust landscape that changes colours throughout the seasons.  Collaboration with MTO ensured that the pre-tender construction drawings achieved provincial standards for visibility, accessibility and safety.  A new solar-powered illumination system was installed along with new lighting fixtures.
