Wavefront created an open space and park master plan for a mixed density residential community in Niagara Falls that included sustainable design features to protect a sensitive wetland within the boundary.  Restricted access to the natural areas and creating naturalization zones were prominent landscape features as well as linear park space and tree-lined streets with pocket parks at prominent intersections.  An abandoned railway traversing the site is planned to become a new transit stop that for passengers traversing between Niagara Falls tourism area and a new commercial centre to be constructed in the new community.
