GATEWAY AND WAYFINDING

Wavefront were the project managers and public engagement lead for a tourism strategy in collaboration with The Tourism Company for the Town of Lincoln, a small-town charm municipality of 22,000 residents that has the Niagara Escarpment, culinary, horticultural offerings and more than 75 wineries. Attracting visitors on their way to Niagara Falls was explored as well as increasing the capacity of the destination to include surrounding municipalities. In addition, Wavefront prepared conceptual designs for two key destinations and a Wayfinding Strategy that mapped more than 273 identity and directional signs and provided a strategy and conceptual designs to consolidate signs and create a consistent and attractive look and feel throughout the destination.
