A deep dive into the building permit approval process, government administrative structure and funding sources to increase Fiji’s capacity to enforce compliance with the Fiji National Building Code.  Wavefront was the project manager and public engagement lead for a series of workshops to discuss issues and seek innovative solutions.  The final solution was to divide the approval process between ministries based on whether the land is located in an urban, rural or iTaukei village (indigenous) and over 50 strategies to increase awareness, education, training, policy and legislation.
